Kathy R. Smith, a resident of Dustin passed away Wednesday, January 3rd, 2018 in Dustin at the age of 69. She was born February 22, 1948 in Checotah, Oklahoma to Dimple Glover & Reba Violet (Burns) Glover.
Kathy was a graduate of Hanna High School Class of 1966 and later worked for Walmart in Okmulgee for nineteen years. Kathy loved nature and the outdoors and tending to her plants and flowers.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Dimple & Reba Glover, and one brother, Billy George Glover.
She is survived by two children, Greg Smith & wife Tricia of Noble;
Angela Smith of the home in Dustin;
Three grandchildren, John Seabourne, Brittany Patneaude, & Chrystal Hensley.
Six great grandchildren;
Two sisters, Myrlene Layman & husband Wayne of Oktaha;
Suze Rose & husband Todd of Eufaula;
Two brothers, Johnny Wayne Glover & wife Beverly of Eufaula;
Joe Bob Glover & wife Billie of Checotah;
Also by many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
The casket will remain closed for visitation and services.
Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Mellette Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
