Lahoma June Garrison

LaHoma June (Pendley) Garrison was born on May 23rd, 1929 in Hanna, Oklahoma to Leo Edward and Edith Eulene (Limbird) Pendley. LaHoma passed from this life at the age of 91 on December 26th, 2020 in the comfort of her home. She married Ledger Garrison on May 10th, 1947 in Whitefild, Oklahoma. She enjoyed being a school teacher at East and West Liberty Schools as well as Hanna Schools until her retirement in 1979.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Leo and Edith Pendley, her husband: Ledger Lee Garrison, and a brother: Damon Pendley: grandson Landon Stidman: a great-grandson Leo Stidman.

LaHoma was survived by her three daughters: Kathy Garrison of Hanna, Oklahoma, Teresa Garrison Pratt of Eufaula, Oklahoma, and Anita Garrison Stidman of Hanna, Oklahoma. Nine grandchildren: Tamra Morgan, Cary Dawn Odom, Lacy Nation, Lauren May, Lucas Stidman, Ryan Cox, Torie Anderson, Dillon Pratt, and Travis Pratt. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 30th, 2021 at the Apostolic Church in Hanna formerly Hanna Freewill Baptist Church with Tony Haley officiating.

LaHoma would have asked that any donations be made to St. Judes Hospital or Shriners Hospital in her honor.
