Larkin Herbert Terry

Larkin Herbert Terry of Schulter, Oklahoma was born October 25, 1942 in Spiro, Oklahoma to Joe and Hazel (Eatmon) Terry. He passed away Sunday, August 10, 2014 at his home in Schulter, Oklahoma at the age of 71. Larkin was a Veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the United States Army. He is survived by his wife Twila Terry of 25 years. He is also survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Burkart & husband George of Zweibrucken, Germany and Mylinda Terry of Conway, Arkansas. He is also survived by his step-son, Shawn Counts and wife Connie of Schulter, Oklahoma and Stepson, Timothy Counts & wife Kim of Henryetta, Okla. He has 8 grandkids, Matthew Connors of Hackett, Arkansas, Brianna Counts of Schulter, Megan Counts of Schulter, Josh Ribordy of Henryetta, Alicia Fulton of Henryetta, Oliver Burkart of Zweibrucken, Germany, Roiner Burkart of Zweibrucken, Germany, and Sascha Burkart of Zweibrucken, Germany, 5 sister-in-laws, Helen Terry of Spiro, Oklahoma, Verna Terry of Oklahoma City, Pat Terry of Spokane Washington, Betty Terry of Wister, Oklahoma, and Mary Helen Terry of Edmond, Oklahoma, Special family friend, Marva Ellis as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives. Larkin was preceded in death by his parents, Joe & Hazel (Eatmon) Terry, one sister, Maxine Terry, and 6 brothers, Joe Dave Terry, Bill Terry, Leon Terry, Arthur Terry, Jackie Terry and Doyle Terry and one son, Ralph Terry of Germany. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, August 16, 2014 at the Terry residence in Schulter at 1:00pm. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Spiro at a later date.
