Laura Mable Davis

Laura Mable Davis, a resident of Henryetta, passed away October 10, 2013 in Henryetta, Oklahoma at the age of 94. She was born Saturday, May 3, 1919 in Dustin, OK to Edward Coleman & Lucy Jones Coleman. She married Stanley Davis February 26, 1941 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. She was a longtime member of the First Church of the Nazarene. Laura is preceded in death by her husband Stanley Davis in 1984, two sons, Jimmie Davis & Roy Davis. Also by one brother Jesse Coleman and two sisters, Maxine Weatherman and Mildred Henderson. Laura is survived by two sons: Freddie Davis & wife Shirley of Henryetta; Jerry Davis of Henryetta; Her grandchildren: Anita Thompson & husband Dennis of Henryetta; Freddie Davis & wife Dana of Dewar; Susan Orman of Henryetta; Laura Black & husband Phillip of Henryetta; Also nine other grandchildren Thirteen great-grandchildren, Eight great-great grandchildren, One sister, Leota Withrow of Turkey Pen; Lots of nieces and nephews including a very special niece, Ijuana Koren who helped care for Mable. Also survived by a host of friends and other relatives Pallbearers will be, Dennis Thompson, Stanley Davis, Freddie Davis, Jr., Andy Stalnaker, Harold Henderson, & Danny Withrow. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Westlawn Cemetery with Rev. Mike Meeks, pastor of First Church of the Nazarene officiating. Services are under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
