Laura Kathryn Smith

Laura Kathryn Cantrell-Smith was born March 25th, 1964 in San Jose, California. She passed form this life August 25th 2009 after an extended illness. Laura attended and graduated from Okemah High School. She worked at Blue Belle Garment factory and at various cafes in the area through the years. Laura was preceded in death by her son Caleb Smith, her paternal grandparents Buster and Frances Cantrell, maternal grandparents, Lewis & Bonnie Gann, Raymond & Eula Gann, 1 aunt, Ann Forrest, 2 uncles, Jackie Lee Gann & Lynn Ray Gann. She is survived by her parents, Chester and Quintell Cantrell of Dewar, Oklahoma 1 son, Zachary Smith of Okemah, Oklahoma 1 Sister, Leah Crosby of Norman, Oklahoma 1 brother, David Cantrell of Dewar, Oklahoma As well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Laura will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Pallbearers were, Donnie Cantrell, Mike Cline, Teddy Runt, Max Cheatham, Thomas Cooper, & Ricky Dale Farris. Funeral services were held, Thursday, August 27, 2009 at the Apostolic House of Prayer in Henryetta with Rev. Scott Randall and Sis. Judy Wainwright, officiating. Interment was in Westlawn Cemetery, Henryetta, Oklahoma under direction of Integrity Funeral Service .
