Lee Ennis, a resident of rural Schulter, was born July 19, 1923 in rural Okfuskee county to George W. Ennis and Della Belle (Guinn) . Lee went to be with his Maker, from his earthly home, on Sunday, July 25, 2010. Lee married Bessie Reid on December 30, 1950 in Pharoah, Oklahoma. During their 59 1/2 years of marriage they were blessed with three children, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Lee worked at American Window and Glass and later at Okmulgee County District #2 before retiring from Covington Aircraft as a mechanic. Lee is survived by his wife, Bessie Ennis of the home; daughter Bonita Frederick and husband Richard of Schulter; a son, Roger Ennis and wife Debbie of Schulter; a daughter, Ranee Cline and husband Joey of Morris, OK; a sister, Rilda Srimshire of Okemah; grandsons, R. Dale Frederick and wife Jamie (Johnson) of Okmulgee, Joshua Ennis and Niki Walsworth of Henryetta, Steven Cline of Morris, and Jacob Ennis of Schulter; granddaughters; Codi (Frederick) and husband Dan Ashinhurst of Jenks, Beth (Ennis) Johnson of Sand Springs, OK, Krysta (Cline) and husband Johnny Robinson of Moore, and Becca Ennis of Schulter; great grandchildren, Alexis Ennis, Aniyah Ennis, KayLee Johnson and Izzy Robinson. He is preceded in death by both his mother and father, brothers Vernon Ennis of California and Orvel Ennis of Kellyville. Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Grovania Free Will Baptist Church, north of Okmulgee with Rev. Earl "Buck" Cope and Rev. Maxi Adair officiating. Interment will follow immediately at Salt Creek Cemetery in Wilson under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service. Viewing and visitation will be held at the funeral home at 410 East Trudgeon on Tuesday, from 11am to 8pm and on Wednesday from 8 to noon. The Lord blessed Lee here on earth with 87 years, a loving family, and many good friends.
