Leona Kathleen Floyd

Leona Kathleen Floyd, a resident of Shawnee, formerly of Henryetta, passed away Friday, October 11, 2013 in Shawnee, OK at the age of 94. She was born October 31, 1918 in Henryetta, OK to Luther Alvis Bryan & Lillie Mae (Stillwell) Bryan. Leona married the love of her life, Arley Taft Floyd in October of 1934 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Henryetta VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers, 2 sisters, daughter, Mary Thomas, daughter, Vivian Lamb, son, Jimmie Don Floyd, and grandson, Jackie Thomas. Leona is survived by two daughters, Shirley Winton & husband Bob of Shawnee, and Linda Farley & husband Alvin of Sapulpa, 15 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and one great-great-great grandchild. Funeral Services are scheduled for Monday, October 14, 2013 at 10:00 AM, at Dewar United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Matthew Martin, officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
