Leona Mae Spear

Leona Mae "Granny" Spear a resident of Schulter, passed away Sunday, February 03, 2013 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 81. She was born February 23, 1931 in Tulsa, OK to Thomas & Fayetta Walls. Granny was a member of the Schulter Baptist Church and was also a member of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 35 years, Joe Keeling, her second husband, Lewis M. Spear Sr. in 2007, brother, Kelsey Walls, and by her son-in-law Lewis Spear Jr. Leona is survived by her 5 daughters, Lue Caffey & husband Donald of Keota, Sue Spear of Keota, Nancy Nunley & husband Alvin of Schulter, Janet Renfro & husband Larry of Henryetta, and Tena Holman & Jim Reed of Sallisaw, 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, as well as many other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Don Caffey, Joe Caffey, Brent Caffey, Mike Casillas, Shane Stogner, Steven Stogner, Scott Stogner, Timmy Robertson, and Jerrad Holman. Honorary Pallbearers will be Larry Truelove, Cleo Robison, and Carl Don Dickey. Family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, February 5 at Integrity Funeral Service. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Schulter Baptist Church with Rev. Phil Barton, officiating. Interment will follow at 3:30 pm at the Sallisaw City Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
