Lewis Bible, Jr., a lifetime resident of Dewar passed away Thursday, August 2nd, 2018 in Oklahoma City at the age of 65. He was born March 27th, 1953 to Lewis Bible, Sr. and Helen Freda (Jones) Bible. He was a graduate of Dewar High School and a Dewar Dragon through and through. Lewis loved all types of sports and delighted in supporting his grandsons in any sport they played and was faithful to every game. More than sports he loved his family, adoring his wife, two girls, Jenny & Mandy and grandsons, Braxton, Jake, Garrett, Kurt and granddaughter, Stormi. More than everything Lewis loved his Lord and served him to the best of his ability. Lewis was very proud of his Native heritage, Muscogee (Creek), and loved the traditions and did his best to uphold them and honor them. He worked for Smithco Engineering as a welder for 30 years. He loved spending time playing golf with his best friend, Larry Hester, who he loved like a brother.
He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Lewis & Helen Bible, two brothers, Thomas Lee (Sonny) Sullivan and Barney Sullivan, also his beloved mother-in-law, Phyllis Shoun Qualls.
He is survived by his wife Brenda of the home;

Mandy Bible Loyd & Brandi Casey of Dewar;
Grandchildren: Braxton Loyd of Dewar;
Jake Hunnicutt of Dewar;
Garrett Loyd of Dewar;
Stephen Kurt Hunnicutt of Dewar;
Stormi Dawn Bible of Dewar;
Ghessica Lewis;
Great grandchildren, Jayden Lewis, Brooklyn Baldwin, & Cali Baldwin;
Two brothers: Jerry Bible of Okmulgee;
Dennis Bible & wife Alexia of Morris;
Four sisters: Joanna Thomas of Okmulgee;
Linda Buckley of Glenpool;
Jean Hawkins & husband Butch of Wagoner;
Bonita Wright of Okmulgee;
A niece who he loved like a sister, Christy Johnson & husband Darin of Tiger Mountain;
His father-in-law: Matt Qualls of Dewar;
An aunt, Kathryn Spurlock of Dewar;
An uncle, Wilson Jones of California;
Also by a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other numerous relatives.
Pallbearers will be, Braxton Loyd, Jake Hunnicutt, Garrett Loyd, Larry Hester, Tommy Dickey, & Arvin McGowin. Honorary pallbearers will be, Bill Goodner, John "Siagon" Harlen, Ron Coe, Sr., John Fultz, Butch Ritter, & Jim Delso.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 7th, 2018 at Dewar First Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Vance & Rev. Ryan Wells officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery under direction and care of Integrity Funeral Service.
