Lillie Juanita (Smith) Gray, 97 of Dustin, passed away February 16, 2014 at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Johnnie and Jackie Gray at McAlester. Lillie was born, September 30, 1916 in the Trenton community west of Hanna to John H. and Martha Susan (Coffey) Smith. She married Raymond L. Gray in Dustin on January 22, 1934 and lived in Dustin most of her life. She was known for the beautiful quilts she made by hand for her family, for fundraisers, and for charity. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, her parents, a great grandson, Matthew, and brothers, Wm Edward Leon and John Julius Smith. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Johnnie and Jackie Gray of McAlester, daughters Neta and husband Leon Parton of Sand Springs, Margaret and husband Bert of Glenpool, sisters Agnes Keathley of Tulsa and Rosa Newton-Ashley of Alvin, Texas. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.. Viewing will be held at Integrity Funeral Service from 2-8pm on Tuesday, February 18. Funeral Services will be held at the Dustin Baptist Church at 2:00pm on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 with Rev. David Smith, officiating. Interment will follow at Dustin Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service. Pallbearers will be grandsons, John Gray, Danny Barlow, Kevin Bean, Randy Bean, Daniel Wisenhunt, and Christopher Smith. Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael Bean, Matthew Bean, Morgan Bean, Adam Barlow, and William Wamego.
