Lillie Mae Shockley, a longtime resident of the Henryetta area, died Wednesday, February 24, 2010 in Tulsa at the age of 80. She was born October 13, 1929 in Hanna, Oklahoma to William Britt and Ishmael (Jones) Britt. She was a past member of the Freewill Holiness Church in Dewar.She was preceded in death by her Parents, William and Ishmael Britt, her first husband, Arley Thompson, second husband, Ralph Dodge, third husband, Andy Shockley, brothers, Junior and Jack Britt and by one sister, Marry McCarroll. She is survived by her 4 children, Sonny Thompson and wife Margaret of Dewar, Jennette Staton & husband Kenneth of Dewar, Luke Shockley & wife Shannon of Bristow, Oklahoma, Sherry Campbell & husband Randy of Henryetta, Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, 6 brothers, Pete Britt of Hoffman, Ira Britt of Grayson, Johnny Britt of Henryetta, Duke Britt of Dewar, Kenneth Britt of Bristow, and Curtis Britt of Dewar, one sister, Linda Burney of Hoffman, and by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00 PM, Monday, March 1, 2010 at the Silver Springs Baptist Church in Tiger Mountain. Interment will be in Hoffman Cemetery in Hoffman under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
