Linda Rae (Langwell) Langwell Baker

December 4, 1950 — July 27, 2017

Linda Rae (Langwell) Baker, a former longtime resident of Henryetta and currently of Bixby, passed from this life on Thursday, July 27, 2017 in Tulsa at the age of 66. Linda was born in Henryetta on December 4, 1950 to Thomas Langwell, Sr. and Vena (Alstatt) Langwell.

Linda grew up in Henryetta, attended Henryetta Public Schools and graduated from Henryetta High School with the class of 1969. LInda married the love of her life, Matthew L. Baker in Henryetta on February 5, 1972. They remained happily enjoined for over 45 years before her death. Linda worked most recently for several years as a retail clerk at Lowe's Home Improvement Center before her retirement. LInda was an avid Tulsa University football fan. She also absolutely loved travelling. Linda was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother, and she will be greatly missed by the many people who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Langwell, Sr.

Linda is survived by her husband, Matthew Baker of Bixby; a daughter, Sharon Kerr and husband Michael of Broken Arrow; a granddaughter, Morgan Paige Kerr of Broken Arrow; her mother, Vena Langwell of Broken Arrow; a brother, Tommy Langwell Jr. and wife Judy of Broken Arrow; and by other extended family and many good friends.

A graveside service for Linda will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Westlawn Cemetery in Henryetta. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
