Linda Ann (Hodge) Newman

Linda Ann Newman, a lifelong resident of Weleetka, passed away Tuesday, September 06, 2016 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 71. She was born August 4, 1945 in Weleetka, OK to Edmond Dobson Hodge & Roberta (Harris) Hodge.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one daughter, Kristina Lynn Newman.

She was a faithful member of the First Assembly of God Church in Weleetka where she was a Sunday School Teacher, pianist, soloist, church secretary and treasurer.


Linda is survived by her husband of 53 years, James Newman of the home,
son, James Newman "Jim Ed" & fiance Shannon Sharpton of Weleetka,
son, Richard Newman & wife Jamie of Birmingham, Alabama,
grandchildren, James Newman III of Weleetka,
Stanley Newman of Eufaula,
KarlyAnn Newman of Eufaula,
BrantLee Newman of Birmingham, Alabama,
Bailee Ann Newman of Birmingham, Alabama,
sister, Wilma Adams & husband David of Guthrie,
brother, Tom Hodge & wife Patsy of Moore, Oklahoma,
as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be from 4-8pm on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Integrity Funeral Service.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00pm, Friday, September 9, 2016 at the First Assembly of God Church in Weleetka with Pastor Verlin Kelley, officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Weleetka. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
