Linda Faye Simpson, age 59 and a resident of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 in Tulsa. Linda was born on September 28, 1954 in Bainbridge, Maryland to Jack Lamar Fulmer and Ginny Hawkins Fulmer. Linda was a loving wife, mother and daughter. She brought great joy to everyone she met. Linda married the love of her life, Travis Simpson on March 19, 1999 in Brownsville, Tennessee. Linda liked to cook and loved to swim and participate in all outdoor activities. She was well known for her love of pets, especially her dogs and cats. She will be greatly missed. Linda is preceded in death by her mother, Ginny Hawkins Fulmer, who passed away one month ago. She is survived by her husband, Travis; her father, Jack Fulmer of Westminster, Maryland; a son, Michael Murphy and wife Melody of Tulsa; a daughter, Tina Murphy of Broken Arrow; a special "adopted" daughter, Stacy Mendenhall of Tulsa; a granddaughter, Fayth Murphy of Tulsa; 1 brother, Stephen Fulmer and wife Donna of Maryland; 2 sisters, Jenny Dull of Maryland, and Lechel Weaver of Pennsylvania; and by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family; and many good friends. Viewing and visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 18th at Integrity Funeral Service from 2pm until 8pm. A funeral service for Linda will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 2:00pm at Little Coweta Baptist Church near Stidham, Oklahoma with Rev. Dustin Tidwell officiating. Interment will follow immediately at Hanna Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service of Henryetta. Pallbearers will be Jim Davis, Jimmy Davis, Zac Davis, Heath Davis, Travis Simpson, and Michael Murphy. The family has designated the Tulsa Society to Prevent Cruelty to Animals, 2910 Mohawk Blvd. Tulsa, Oklahoma, (phone 918-428-7729) as appropriate for memorial contributions.
