Lois moved to Okmulgee, Oklahoma as a child, attended Okmulgee schools and graduated from Okmulgee High School. Lois still made time for her family with the addition of two more daughters. It was about this time she retired from work due to her health. She was able to be with her children, involved in their sports and other activities. She enjoyed attending softball and basketball tournaments with her daughter Nicole. Lois really enjoyed the time spent with her daughters. Later in her life she and her mom would enjoy their time piecing together jigsaw puzzles. She enjoyed cooking with her mother and sharing meals with her family. Her meatloaf recipe has become legendary in the homes of her daughters preparing it exactly same way she did when they were children. Lois loved her family and always tried to take care of them.
