Loresa Sue (Andrews) Foster

Loresa Sue (Andrews) Foster, a longtime resident of Schulter, passed from this life on Monday evening, April 24, 2017 in Schulter at the age of 59, Loresa was born on April 13, 1958 in Henryetta, Oklahoma to David Andrews and Robbie Jo Brison. She grew up and lived in Schulter, which she so lovingly called "God's Country" for her entire life. She loved the platt of land she lived on in Schulter and she always said it's where she belonged.

Following high school, Loresa worked briefly at the glass plant in Sapulpa. She later worked in positions running the Kerr McGee Gas Station in Henryetta and at First Stop Convenience Store in Okmulgee. Most of her adult life, Loresa worked in nursing support roles in a variety of area nursing homes and Tulsa assisted living centers. She provided exceptional and attentive personal care. Loresa married the love of her life, Eddie Dean Foster on February 22, 1993 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. They remaining happily married for 24 years until her death.

Loresa will be most remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister and granny and she will be missed by the many people who knew and loved her. She had a big love for life, making jokes, laughing with others, delighted in being with her family and being a "Granny" to her grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her father, David Andrews; her grandparents, Joseph and Vernia Brison; and by two brothers, Darrell Andrews and Larry Andrews.

She is survived by her husband, Eddie Foster, of the home in Schulter; her mother, Robbie Jo Summers of Eufaula; a daughter, Karla Kinch and husband Clark of Oklahoma City; a son, Jerrell Smith and wife Mindy of Schulter; a step-daughter, Traci Schoppel of Muskogee; four grandchildren, Mackinzy Nava, Alex Nava, Samantha Smith, and Seth Schoppel; a sister, Frankie Mayhar and husband Allen of Eufaula; brother, Randy and LaRonda Andrews of Henryetta; brother, Ricky Andrews and wife Ronna of Schulter; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family, and many good friends.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Integrity Chapel in Henryetta. Following the service her remains will be interred at Salem Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service of Henryetta.
