Lou Joe Kinney

Lou Joe (Minyard) Kinney, a resident of Henryetta, Oklahoma, was born on April 5, 1930, in Henryetta, Oklahoma. She was a loving mother to Barbara E. (Kinney) Metivier and the late Timothy E. Kinney, she loved her two grandchildren Gary D. Files and Gregory S. Files, her five great grandchildren, Joshua Thompson, Erika Files, Zachary Files, Brittani Files, and Ashton Cole Files, her two great great grandchildren Laila Gibson and Ashlynn Thompson. Loujoe is the daughter of the late Nealy and Lorena Thompson Minyard. Lou Joe passed away Monday, November 10, 2014 in her home in Henryetta at the age of 84. She was a devoted caregiver to her grandmother Lizzie, mother Lorena, and uncle Charles Minyard for several years. She never met a stranger and enjoyed talking to all that knew her. Her pass time was watching her favorite game shows on TV and working her Seek and Find Word Books. Besides her daughter, Barbara E. (Kinney) Metivier, she leaves a son, the late Timothy E. Kinney of Henryetta, Oklahoma; 3 sisters, the late Bessie Minyard of Henryetta, Oklahoma, Charlena Dunlap of Beggs, Oklahoma and Billie Allen of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; 3 brothers, the late Thomas Minyard of Henryetta, Oklahoma, the late Jerry Wade Minyard of Henryetta, Oklahoma, and the late Anthony "Tony" Minyard of Henryetta, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, five great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Viewing will be from 4-8pm on Monday, November 17, 2014, at Integrity Funeral Service. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Integrity Chapel in Henryetta with Rev. Jack Vance, officiating. Interment will follow at Salem Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
