Louie Leon Bookout

Louie Leon Bookout, a resident of Henryetta passed away Wednesday, August 26th, 2015 in Tulsa at the age of 81. He was born April 12, 1934 in Tuskahoma, Oklahoma to Charles Orel Bookout & Mary Elizabeth (Smith) Bookout. He worked as a supervisor at the General Portland Cement Co. He was a member of Silver Spring Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, one son, Steven Leon Bookout, also by four brothers, Charles, Kenneth, H.B. & Gilbert, and two sisters, Oweata Maddox and Lorene Lassiter. He is survived by five children: Virginia Ann Causey & husband Rock of Corinth, Texas; Billy Leon Bookout of Azel, Texas; Mary Jane Mach & husband Gary of Abbott, Texas; John Wesley Bookout & wife Tina of Columbus, Georgia; Clint Bookout of Bixby; Seven grandchildren & Six great-grandchildren; One brother, Ibrey Bookout of Alabama; One sister, Mary Bookout of Oklahoma City; Also by a host of friends and other family. Pallbearers will be Cole Wells, Rock Causey, Clint Bookout, John Bookout, Ben Causey, & Jason Williamson. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Silver Spring Baptist Church. Interment will be in Westlawn Cemetery. Services are under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
