Lucretia Mae Lay

Lucretia Mae "LOU" Lay, a resident of Henryetta, passed away October 06, 2013 in Henryetta, OK at the age of 63. She was born Friday, February 3, 1950 in Okemah, OK to Roscoe Neal & Billie Earnest. Lou married Robert Lay on June 10, 1968 in Okemah, Oklahoma, together they Pastored New Covenant Tabernacle near Grayson community in rural Henryetta for many years. She was preceded in death by her mother, Billie Neal, brother Jerry Dale Neal, and grandparents, Tom & Beulah Earnest and Robert and Mary Neal. Lou is survived by her husband of 45 years, Robert Lay of the home, her three boys, Robert Lay Jr. & wife Kristen of Salem, Oklahoma, Steven Lay & wife Joni of Iowa, Brian Lay & wife Stena of Edmond, grandchildren, Sarah McKinney & husband Michael, Robert Paul Lay, Kevin Riley, Emma Grayce Lay, Bailey Lay, Shelby Lay, Michelle Lay, Hunter Lay and Brianna Lay, one great grandson, Wyatt McKinney, her father, Roscoe Neal & wife Dorothy of Henryetta, two brothers, Rosco Neal Jr. & wife Twyla of Cushing, and Bobby Tom Neal & wife Kellie of Waco, Texas, her aunt, Gay Forrest of Stroud, as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at New Covenant Tabernacle with Rev. Tom Lay, officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery in Henryetta under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
