Manuel Dewaine Britt, a resident of Okmulgee was born June 12, 1971 in Okmulgee and passed away Friday, September 30, 2011 in Tulsa at the age of 40. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Diamond Dunzy, maternal grandmother, Island Dunzy, paternal grandmother, Louise Britt, and an aunt Aleta Britt Whittington. Manuel is survived by one son, Andrew Britt of Dewar His mother, Cilla Litsey & husband Jimmy of Dewar His father, Ed (Man) Britt & wife Sherri of Beggs A brother, Gary Wayne Britt of Henryetta A sister, Terrie Moore of Independence, Kansas Paternal Grandfather, Edwin "Bo" Britt & wife Dot of Henryetta 4 Uncles, Donnie Dunzy of Henryetta David Dunzy & wife Reda of Dewar Vernon Britt & wife Yvette of Mounds Ernie Britt & wife Diane of Coalton 2 Aunts, Della LaSarge & husband Charley of Okmulgee Janie Adams & husband Don of Sallisaw Also by a host of friends and other relatives. Pallbearers will be, Roy Peavler, dewayne Mattews, Don Adams, Nathaniel Duclose, C.J. James, & Larry Clark. Honorary pallbearers will be, Matthew Wooten, Ike Lee, Vernon Britt, David Dunzy, Chuck LaSarge, & Matt Moore. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 3, 2011 at Dewar First Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Bible, officiating. Interment will be in Daniels Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
