Margaret Virginia (Belt) Baughman

Margaret Virginia Baughman, a resident of Schulter, passed away on Saturday, January 3rd, 2015 in Henryetta at the age of 70. Margaret was born on September 25, 1944 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Joe Belt and Mable Nelson Belt.

Margaret married the love of her life, Randall Baughman in 1963 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. They remained happily married for 36 years until Randall's death in November, 2014. Margaret was a member of the Schulter Baptist Church and the National Turkey Association. She was an accomplished seamstress, loved fishing, and always had time to spend with her grandchildren. She was loved deeply by her family and she will be missed.

Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Randall A. Baughman who died Nov. 23, 2014; a brother-in-law, Gary Baughman; sisters, Betty Goodman, Coweta Owens, and Dorothy Baker; and a brother, Joe Belt.

She is survived by two sons, Jerry Baughman and wife Debbie of Schulter; Troy Baughman and wife Jean of Schulter; 6 grandchildren, Brandon Baughman and wife April of Preston, Brandi Baughman-Horne of Schulter; Brian Baughman and wife Amber of Eufaula, Jane Lindley of England, Michael Massey of Schulter, and Vicky Massey of Schulter; by 7 great grandchildren, Kolton Baughman of PReston, Katelyn Baughman of Preston, Jacob Horne of Schulter, Jordan Horne of Schulter, Brooklyn Baughman of Henryetta, Gabe Mortenson of Eufaula, and Brooklyn Massey of Schulter; a brother-in-law, Dennis Baughman and wife Pat of Porter, TX; a brother, Ronnie Nelson and wife of Henryetta; and by numerous other extended family and many good friends.

Viewing for Margaret will be held at Integrity Funeral Service on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 from 2pm until 8pm.

A funeral service to honor Margaret will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 2:00pm at Integrity Chapel in Henryetta with Rev. Steve Treagesser officiating. Interment will follow immediately at Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service of Henryetta.
