Marvin L. Boatright

Marvin L. Boatright, a resident of Henryetta, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2013 in Henryetta, Oklahoma at the age of 62. He was born Tuesday, March 20, 1951 in Henryetta, OK to Harold L. Boatright & Verla L. (Brooks) Boatright. Marvin married Karen Poole on November 9, 1979 in Bristow, Oklahoma. He worked as Program Manager for the Department of Environmental Quality, State Of Oklahoma. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Henryetta. He is preceded in death by his parents Harold & Verla Boatright, and one daughter, Rejeana Cheatwood. Marvin is survived by his wife Karen of the home; A daughter, Kalli Dodge & husband Steve of Henryetta; Two grandchildren: Tanner & Abbigal Dodge of Henryetta; Also a host of friends and other relatives. Viewing will be Tuesday, May 14, 2013 from Noon until 8:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Don Polston, Mickey Osmond, Bruce Mahafey, Phil Agee, Bobby Hardridge, & Fenton Rood. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of The Men's Bible Class of First United Methodist Church, Bobby Fain & Raymond Eldridge. Funeral servies are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church in Henryetta with Rev. Dale Durnell and Rev. Bobby Hardridge officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
