Mary Opal Houck

Mary Opal Houck, a resident of Henryetta died Friday, October 16, 2009 in Henryetta at the age of 83. She was born December 25, 1925 in Henryetta to William Estel Stout and Melissa Pearl Sweeden Stout. She married Jasper C. Houck May 15, 1942 in Henryetta. She was a homemaker, a member of the General Assembly and Church of the First Born, the Senior Citizens in Okmulgee and Henryetta. She is survived by four children: Donna Grady & husband Bill of Sapulpa, Oklahoma Mary Crouch & husband Mike of Enid, Oklahoma Melody Pippin & husband Rick of Henryetta, Oklahoma J.C. Houck & wife Vicki of Tulsa, Oklahoma 12 Grandchildren: Shawn Grady, Scott Crouch, Jeremy Pippin, Stacy Grady, Jerod Pippin, Joshua Crouch, C. J. Houck, Zachary Crouch, Jeryl Pippin, Jordan Pippin, Sheryl Rodgers, & Heather Copeland. 7 Great Grandchildren 1 brother: Irvin Stout of Fresno, California 1 aunt: Zetta Stout of Tulsa, Oklahoma As well as a host of friends and other relatives Opal is preceded in death by her parents, William and Pearl Stout, her husband, Jasper Houck, 2 brothers, Freddy Stout & Cecil Stout, 2 sisters, Mildred Singleton & Alice Maxfield. Also a grandson, Shannon Grady, a great granddaughter, Ashlyn Grady. Pallbearers will be: Shawn Grady, Scott Crouch, Jeremy Pippin, Stacy Grady, Jerod Pippin, Joshua Crouch, C. J. Houck, Zachary Crouch, Jeryl Pippin, Jordan Pippin, Sheryl Rodgers, & Heather Copeland. The family will greet friends at the funeral home Sunday, from 4- 6 p.m. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 19, 2009 at the General Assembly and Church of the First Born in Henryetta, with Brother Bill Grady, officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
