Mary Frances Skoglund

Mary Frances Wheeler Skoglund, known locally as "Fran Wheeler", a long time resident of Henryetta, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013 in Henryetta, OK at the age of 84. She was born Sunday, June 24, 1928 in Norman, OK to Lester Barnes & Edna (McCalip). Fran married W. Fred Wheeler on February 14, 1947 and he preceded her in death on October 25, 1967. She later married Leroy Joseph Skoglund on November 4, 1975 in Yuma, Arizona and he preceded her in death on April 26, 2003. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, 1 baby brother, and by one step-daughter, Judy Adkins. Fran is survived by her daughter Ramona Mathis & husband Don of Panama City Beach, Florida, daughter, Brenda Wheeler Benton & husband Galen of Henryetta, son, Jim Wheeler & wife Donna of Henryetta, son, Kevin Zane Wheeler & wife Cari of Greenville, Texas, 4 step-children, Skip, Eric, Angela, and Jean, sister, Joann Dunning of Texas, and Arvella Kirk of Texas, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial Services are scheduled for Friday, June 7, 2013 at Integrity Chapel (410 E. Trudgeon St.) with Rev. Jack Vance, officiating and Rev. Brett Wheeler, assisting. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
