Mary Ruth (Briscoe) Williams

Mary Ruth Williams, a resident of Henryetta, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017 in Henryetta, OK at the age of 86. She was born September 10, 1930 in Dewar, OK to Frank Briscoe & Bessie (White) Briscoe.

Mary lived many places throughout her life working in different service related fields, but returned home for the last 25 years to be close to her family. She loved to dance, bake and was affectionately known as Marmie to all. She touched many lives with her quick wit, generous soul and positive outlook on life.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Henryetta.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Briscoe & Bessie (White) Briscoe, her first husband, Kenny Elrod, 2nd husband Steve Williams, sister, Dorothy Smith and brother-in-law, Roy Smith, brother, Roger Briscoe and sister-in-law, Linda Briscoe, brother, Frankie Briscoe, and by her great nephew, Jerrid Bolt.

nephew Randy Smith & wife Jane of California,

nephew, Brad Briscoe and wife Christy of Tulsa,
