Marylu Christy Durbin

Marylu Christy Durbin, a resident of Dewar, passed away December 09, 2012 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 71. She was born March 03, 1941 in Dewar, OK to John Orvil Moudy & Georgia Fay (Christy) Moudy. Marylu married Buddy Ray Durbin on March 11, 1960 in Dewar. She was a member of the Dewar First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, John & Georgia Moudy, and by her brother, Jim Moudy. Marylu is survived by her husband Buddy Ray Durbin of the home, 3 children, Barry Ray Durbin & wife Marcy of Tulsa; Traci Gaither & husband Lloyd of Dewar; and Christy Westmoreland & husband Kevin of Dewar, 7 grandchildren, Meghann Samples of Tulsa, Christopher Durbin of Tulsa, Ashton Deming & husband Cody of Augusta, Georgia, Tristan Gaither of Dewar, Devon Blood of Dewar, Dustin Blood of Dewar, and Kacey Westmoreland & wife Brandi of Okemah, 4 great grandchildren, Peyton Durbin, Kourtney Samples, Katilynn Samples, and Kallie Gaither, as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Pallbearers: Kevin Westmoreland, Lloyd Gaither, Greg Christy, Bobby Christy, Joe Bales, and Shannon Moudy. Honorary Pallbearers: Christopher Durbin, Devon Blood, Dustin Blood, and Kacey Westmoreland. Viewing/visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Tuesday, December 11 at Integrity Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Dewar First Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Vance, officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery under the direction and care of Integrity Funeral Service.
