May Frye, a resident of rural Henryetta, passed away Friday, October 14, 2016 at her home in rural Henryetta, OK at the age of 88. She was born August 25, 1928 in Hughes County, OK to William Smith & Nellie (Fields).
She was a member of Yardeka Indian Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband Harbie Frye, Sr., son, Robert Frye, 2 grandsons, Damon Jeffreys, and Jason Waquie, brother, Harper Smith, sister Lizzie Smith Gouge, sister Lucille Smith Sumka, sister, Louise Smith Harjo, brother, Johnson Smith, sister Rosanna Kanard, step-son, Johnny Frye .
May is survived by her daughter, Mary Frye of Glenpool,
daughter, Patricia Frye of Henryetta,
daughter, Fannie Frye of Henryetta,
son, William Frye of Henryetta,
son, Harbie Frye Jr. & wife Cheryl of Guthrie,
son, James Frye of Tulsa,
daughter, Carol Frye & husband Bruce of Dewar,
son, Samuel Frye of Henryetta,
daughter, Freda Fields & husband Alexander of Okmulgee,
18 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing will begin at 2:00pm on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Integrity Funeral Service.
Wake Services will be from 6-8pm on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Integrity Chapel.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00pm, Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Integrity Chapel. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery in Henryetta. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
