Mayzell Hogan

Mayzell "Baby" Hogan, a resident of Henryetta passed away, Friday, March 6, 2015 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma at the age of 95. She was born on July 7, 1919 in Thornton, Texas to J.R. Patterson and Fannie (Robertson) Patterson. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hitchita. Mayzell loved to quilt and was a member of a quilting club for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Lawrence Hogan, and one son, J.L. Hogan. Mayzell is survived by three sons, Lonnie Hogan of Hitchita, Bruce Hogan of Guymon, Oklahoma, and Connie Hogan & wife Resa of Morris, Oklahoma, by one daughter, Johnnie Sue Cloon & husband Ed of Lawton, Oklahoma, 13 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren, as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Viewing will be from 5-8pm on Saturday and from 12pm-8pm on Sunday at Integrity Funeral Service. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00pm, Monday, March 9, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Hitchita with Rev. Steve Treagesser, officiating. Interment will follow at Lackey Cemetery in Hitchita under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
