Shurden Funeral Home 411 West Division Street Henryetta, OK 74437 (918) 652-4461 Fax (918) 652-4451 Lissa Anne Rader, a resident of Henryetta, passed away at her home on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at the age of 48. She was born in Baxter Springs, Kansas on June 12, 1964 to Jim Ray Rader and Diana K. Thornton Rader. Lissa grew up in Kansas and later moved to Oklahoma where she became involved with providing help in medical care in an Oklahoma City clinic. While employed at the clinic for approximately 7 years, she also attended school to receive computer and clerical training. In 2007 she became an ordained minister and remained extremely active with activities involving animal rights. She loved music, reading books, and playing the air guitar. She is survived by her two daughters, Brandi Nicole Rader of Tulsa and Alicia Kay Rader of Joplin, MO; by two grandchildren, Kaydense Nicole Rader of Tulsa and Nevaeh Marie Louise Rader of Joplin, MO; by her father, Jim Rader of Crestline, Kansas; by her mother, Diana Rader of Joplin, MO; by an aunt, Bobbi Gibson of Joplin, MO; by her special caregiver and friend, Raven Schatt; by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and many close friends; and by her special dog companion, "Chan Man". Viewing and visitation will be held at Shurden Funeral Home on Friday, July 20, 2012 from noon until 8pm.
