Melvin Gene Allen, a resident of Henryetta, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 70. He was born August 5, 1945 in Chicago, IL to Elmer Richard Allen & Lena June (Smith) Allen. He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters. Melvin is survived by his wife, Sherry Allen of the home, son, Tim Hale of Waukomis, Oklahoma, daughter, Jessie Hale of Tulsa, daughter, Tina Inc of Tulsa, three grandchildren, Corey Hale, Nicholas Hale, and Hailey Hale, sister, Virginia Brown of Tulsa, brother, Randy Allen of Oklahoma City, sister, Sue Hartman of Oklahoma City, sister, Tina Manly of Tulsa, sister, Sheila Lee of Oklahoma City, A Memorial service is scheduled for Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 10:00 am at the Church of Christ in Henryetta with Rex Walcher, officiating. Cremation arrangements were handled by Integrity Funeral Service.
