Monroe Asbury, Jr.

Monroe Asbury Jr., a resident of Tulsa, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2013 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 57. He was born July 30, 1956 in Tahlequah, OK to Monroe Asbury Sr & Virginia (Sulphur) Asbury. Monroe was preceded in death by his father, Monroe Asbury Sr., grandmother, Nora Beaver, and one niece, Angela Kay Asbury. He is survived by his mother, Virginia Asbury of Sand Springs, 4 sisters, Briz Brooks & husband Ralph of Sand Springs, Mona McIntosh of Tulsa, Gina Haskew & husband Joe of Tulsa, and Gilla American Horse & husband Dawson of Maryville, Washington, daughter, Jessica Asbury of Grove, as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Honorary Pallbearers are nephews, Brandon Todd Asbury, Daniel Scott McIntosh, Wesley James American Horse, Joshua David Haskew, Ryan Andrew Haskew, and Stratton Brooks. Graveside Services are scheduled for Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Greenwood Cemetery in Eufaula with Rev. Richmond Carr, officiating. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
