Nancy Lucille Johnson

Nancy Lucille Johnson, a longtime resident of Henryetta passed away Friday, February 27th, 2015 in Henryetta at the age of 94. She was born January 16, 1921 in Eram, Oklahoma to Dath Q. Peavler and Ada (Smith) Peavler. She married George Johnson March 25, 1939 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. She worked for many years as a nurses aide at Fountain View Manor Nursing Home before her retirement. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, George Johnson, ten brothers, Nolen, Roy, Leland, Earl, Carl, Floyd, Kenneth, Louis, Robert & Frankie Peavler. She is survived by two sons: Jim R. Johnson & wife Jane of Henryetta; Dale Johnson & wife Peggy of Henryetta; Two grandchildren: Montie Johnson & wife Kasey of Henryetta; Stephanie Heck & husband Tom of San Tan Valley, Arizona; Five great-grandchildren: Hailee, Kelsie, Devon & Page Johnson & Natahlia Heck. Two sisters: Dorothy Holley of Wellston, Oklahoma; Ardeth McPherson of Checotah; As well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives. Viewing will be on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m., and Thursday from 8-8 p.m. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 6, 2015 at Integrity Chapel with Rev. Jack Vance officiating. Interment will follow in New Sonora Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
