Nora Factor

Nora Factor, a resident of Henryetta, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at her home Thursday, January 2nd. 2025 with her daughter by her side. Nora was born November 24th. 1928 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Dave Tulsa and Sallie (King) Tulsa.

Nora is preceded in death by her late husband, Edmond Factor, daughter, Alice Mitchell, son, Jim Factor, sister, Katie Tulsa, brothers, Walter Tulsa and Kenneth Sourjohn.

Nora attended Prairie Bell School until she needed to stay home to care for her siblings due to her mother's ill health. Nora was well on her way to becoming a homemaker as she learned to cook at the age of eight years.

Nora's hobbies included beadwork, making yarnbelts, as well as leatherwork, quilting, turtle and can shells. Nora was the eldest member of the Arbeka Ceremonial Grounds, there she was also the family cook at her camp as well as head cook for squirrel soup dinners until her health no longer permitted. Nora was baptized January 27th, 1985 by the Rev. Barney Walker at Hickory Ground #2.

Recently, Nora moved into her new home and friends and family gathered around to celebrate with her, she was asked what did she feel was the secret to long life...her reply was "drink alot of water and dip alot of snuff!" Indeed Nora lived a long and full life, blessed and blessing all those that she met. She was much loved and will be greatly missed.

Those left to cherish Nora's memory are her daughter, Sallie Ortiz of Morris, Oklahoma, son, Joe Tulsa of Morris, Oklahoma, eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and dear friends.

A Wake Service is scheduled for 6:00PM to 8:00PM, Sunday, January 5th, 2025 a Integrity Funeral Service.

Funeral Service is scheduled for 1:00PM Monday, January 6th, 2025 at Hickory Ground #1, Henryetta, Oklahoma.
