Norma Jean Burney

Norma Jean Burney, a resident of Hoffman, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013 in Henryetta, OK at the age of 74. She was born April 14, 1938 in Louisville, KY to Joe Cissell & Mary (Crage) Cissell. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Mervin Dean Burney, 3 children, David Michael Burney, Connie (Little Dude) Burnery, and Theresa Baynes. Norma is survived by her son, Mervin Lee Burney of Hoffman, daughter, Peggy Madden & husband Ricky of Falls of Rough, Kentucky, son, John Franklin Burney & wife Cindy of Hoffman, step-daughter, Sharon Mitchell & husband Bill of Texas, step-daughter Pam Evans of Texas, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, one brother, Roy Cissell of Buffalo, New York, and many other relatives and friends. Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Casey McIntosh, officiating.
