Norma Lee (Burney) Gadbois a resident of Okmulgee, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 67. She was born February 25, 1946 in Henryetta, OK to Charles Pierce Burney & Beulah Martha (Lindley). She was a member of the Lady's Auxillary and a member of the Elks Lodge. Preceding her in death was her parents, son, Johnny Wayne McCarroll, daughter, Rhonda Channon, husband, Maurice Gadbois, brothers, Mervin Burney, Billy Jack Burney, Jimmy Burney, and Mack Burney. Norma is survived by her daughter April Welch & husband Tony of Okmulgee, grandsons, Nathan Welch and Noah Welch of Okmulgee, grandson, Johnny Lee McCarroll of Eufaula, Stepson, Bill McElhannon & wife Lisa of Morris, grandchildren, BJ McElhannon and Christopher McElhannon, 2 great grandchildren, sisters, Joanne Lindley of Okmulgee, and Ethel Owens of Missouri, 6 brothers, Hootie Burney of Okmulgee, Lulu Burney of Midwest City, Kink Burney of Hoffman, Dude Burney of Hoffman, Pete Burney of Hoffman, and Alan Lee Burney of Morris, niece, Katherine Patchen of Morris, as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation/viewing will be from 2-8 pm on Saturday, June 1 and from 1-8 pm on Sunday, June 2 at Integrity Funeral Service. Pallbearers will be Tony Welch, Nathan Welch, Bill McElhannon, BJ McElhannon, CHristopher McElhannon, and Mark Beaver. Honorary Pallbearers will be Noah Welch (Boomer), and Hootie Burney. Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00 pm, Monday, June 3, 2013 at Hoffman First Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Vance, officiating. Interment will follow at Hoffman Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
