Notchie Lee Twist

Rev. Notchie Lee Twist, a resident of Schulter, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2013 at his home in Schulter, OK at the age of 53. He was born May 29, 1959 in Tulsa, OK to Charlie Lee Twist & Irene (Muskrat) Twist. He married Diane M. Doke on April 1, 1995 in Porum, Oklahoma. He was the pastor of the Christian Assembly of God Church in Schulter. He was preceded in death by his father and mother Charlie and Irene Twist, grandparents, Lucy and Tecee Twist, grandparents, Katie and Tom Muskrat, and by one sister, Charlotte Twist. Notchie is survived by his wife Diane M. Twist of the home, son, Trenton Twist, of the home daughter, Jody Scheulen of Muskogee, grandson, Zach Scheulen of Muskogee, brother, Freddy Twist & wife Marilyn of Tulsa, sister, Brenda Crouch & husband Kevin of Porum, brother, David Twist & wife Paula of Porum, brother, Billy Jack Twist & wife Sandy of California, sister, Diana Mendez & husband David of California as well as host of loving family, church family and friends. Pallbearers will be Donald Twist, Darrell Twist, Michael Twist, Cortney Crouch, Leo Lassiter, and Raymond Doke Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be the men of Christian Assembly of God Church. Viewing will be held from 3-8pm on Monday, and from 8am-11-30am on Tuesday at Integrity Funeral Service. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at the First Assembly of God Church in Okmulgee (301 North Seminole) with Rev. Kenneth Doke and Rev. Raymond Doke, officiating. Interment will follow the service at Coleman Cemetery in Porum, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service, Henryetta.
