Paul Harjo

March 14, 1969 — December 26, 2024

Pahos Paul B Harjo, a resident of Tulsa County, left this earth on December 26, 2024, at the age of 55. He is now in the arms of Jesus completely healed and pain-free. Paul was born to Sam Sr. and Geneva Sue B Harjo on March 14, 1969. He may have had a mean look on his face, but always presented with a loving teddy bear heart.

Paul was a graduate of Wilson High School Class of 1988 and then served his country in the US Navy, followed by being a Tribal Wild Land Fire Fighter.

Family was most important to him, he enjoyed coaching both of his children but softball and wrestling were his all time favorites. It was not just his kids that he loved, but cherished being called "Coach Harjo". He was passionate about children, be it helping with children's church, being a pageant dad, dance dad even allowing the girls to put make up on him or painting his nails while he napped. Paul always said that his children were the best part of him and being a dad was the greatest. The next name that he treasured was being called "Pops" by his two precious granddaughters.

Paul is preceded in death by both of his parents and his baby sister Christa B Harjo.

Survivors include his son Michael Seth B Harjo and wife Madison, daughter MaeKayla Sue B Harjo, granddaughters Braxley Raye B Harjo & Bella Reign B Harjo all of Sapulpa, brothers Thomas Wayne B Harjo of Wilson, Sam B Harjo Jr and wife Keri of Choctaw, sisters Jennifer Edwards of Broken Arrow, Marsha Tom and husband Kelly of Okmulgee and Sarah Bear of Glenpool along with several nieces and nephews and a host of friends and extended family.
