Pat Molet

Patrick Molet, a former resident of Henryetta and resident of Choctaw, Oklahoma passed from this life in the early morning hours of Monday, July 8th, 2016 in Choctaw at the age of 78. Pat was born December 13, 1937 in Henryetta to John Molet and Bessie (Arnold) Molet. He grew up in Henryetta, attending Henryetta Public Schools and graduating from Henryetta High School. While in school he was extremely active in youth sports, including the baseball and football teams.
After high school, Pat moved with his family to the Chicago area for a few years before returning to Oklahoma and taking up residence in Del City, then Oklahoma City. Pat met and married the love of his life, Anna Belle Slane in Checotah, Oklahoma on March 19, 1960. They remained married for 56 wonderful years until his death.
Pat served as a deacon in the Baptist church, attending church at Valley View Baptist Church in Oklahoma City where he was a faithful and longtime member. Pat was an avid Oklahoma Sooners fan and followed the Sooners closely each and every year. He will be long remembered by his friends and family as a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
Pat is preceded in death by his father, John Molet and his mother, Bessie Molet Gavras.
He is survived by his wife Anna Molet of the home in Choctaw; by four sons, John D. Molet of Jones, OK, David Molet of Choctaw, Larry Molet of Oklahoma City, and Barry Molet and wife Rachel of Jones; eleven grandchildren, Chelsey Molet, Thomas Molet, Brooke Molet, Luke Molet, Micah Molet, Patrick Molet, Montana Molet, Matthew Molet, Clayton Molet, Kyla Molet, and Christian Molet; by four great grandchildren; a brother, John Molet and wife Donna of Oklahoma City; a sister, Sylvia Kramer and husband Richard of Henryetta; numerous nieces and nephews, a host of other extended family, and many good friends.
Viewing for Pat will be held at Integrity Funeral Service on Monday, July 11 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm; and on Tuesday, July 12 from 8:00am to 8:00pm.
Pallbearers will be, Luke Molet, Patrick Molet, Micah Molet, Steven Lissolo, Kyle Clason & Thomas Molet. Honorary pallbearers will be, Harold Hill and Clayton Molet.
Funeral Services for Pat will be held at Integrity Chapel on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 10:00am with Rev. Jack Vance officiating. Interment will follow immediately in Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
