Pauline Counts

April 19, 1959 — February 1, 2024

Pauline Counts, a dedicated servant of the Lord, completed her earthly journey and entered eternal rest on February 1, 2024 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born on April 19, 1959, in Wewoka, Oklahoma, Pauline's life was a radiant reflection of the love she embodied and the faith that guided her every step.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Nancy Long, her husband Doug Counts, son, Timmy Counts, sister, Tina Murray, brother, Michael Sawyer, brother, Steve Long, and her best friend, Ann Micco.

Pauline built a legacy of love and care through her family and service. She is survived by a blossoming family tree, including her cherished daughter, Nancy Wincle & husband Jeff of Henryetta; her son, Eric McNac & wife Jessica, also of Henryetta; son, Shawn Counts & wife Connie of Henryetta; her daughter, Paula Gray & husband, Bobbie of Tulsa; and daughter Marla McNac of Tulsa. Pauline's beautiful smile and sweet laughter will echo in the memories of her grandchildren, Ethan Wincle and his wife Isabel, Hulleah Wincle, Weston Wincle, Issac McNac alongside Renee Gouge, Mekko-Fayv McNac, Jadin Smith, Jasmin Smith, Brianna Henry with her husband Caleb, and Megan Counts with Tyler Wells. The twinkle of her eye will be remembered through her great-granddaughter, Stella Henry, and the anticipated, cherished arrival of yet another great-grandchild.

Pauline is also survived by her beloved brothers, Roy Long of Bristow and Michael Murray with his wife Karen of Bartlesville, along with her treasured sisters, Lou Crofut of Okmulgee and Pauline Forrest of Henryetta. Her dear cousin, whom she loved like a sister, Diane Nero of Maud, and her special niece, Linda Lewis of Preston, held a place in her heart. A multitude of nephews, nieces, cousins, and countless friends complete the tapestry of lives she touched.

With hands that healed and a heart that cared, Pauline served tirelessly as a nurse tech at the Henryetta Hospital. Her deep commitment extended into her cherished Hickory Ground #1 Indian Baptist Church, where she was training to be a women's leader, igniting the spiritual flame in many.

Pauline's life was a symphony of service; she had an extraordinary ministry of helps. Her dedication to assisting others knew no bounds - sitting at the bedside of the sick and dying, sustaining the multitudes with meals, and traversing distances in her ministry's call. She was faith-filled, gentle, and kind-a virtuous woman whose good works will continue to ripple through countless lives.
