Pauline Teresa Rogez, a longtime resident of the Henryetta area, was claimed by God on a memorable Sunday evening, May 19, 2013 in Tulsa at the age of 98. Pauline was born on August 30, 1914 in Empire, Alabama to Wilburn Roby Ingle and Cealie Shoun Ingle. Pauline grew up in the Dewar area, attended Dewar Schools, but later graduated from Coalton High School. After graduating in May, she married Henry F. Rogez on May 18, 1932 in Checotah, Oklahoma. She and Henry moved to Pleasant Valley to be near family. Pauline and Henry later moved to Detroit, Michigan in order for Henry to pursue his dream of becoming a big league baseball player with the Detroit Tigers. When the war arrived, Henry was drafted into the US Navy. Pauline and family moved to California to be with Henry while he served. After the war, they returned to Pleasant Valley. Pauline was a longtime member of the Schulter Methodist Church. She was also a faithful member of Eastern Star, Worthy Matron and Rebecca Lodge. Pauline was lovingly referred to as "GG" by her family, and the reference brought great joy to her. She is preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband, Henry F. Rogez; a daughter, Janet' Williams; a brother, Leon Ingle; a sister, Norma Ruth Streight; a grandson, Robert Rogez; and a son-in-law, Wayne Roney. Pauline is survived by a daughter, Teresa Roney of Glenpool; a son, Charles Rogez and wife Nancy Jane of Purcell; a son-in-law, Tim Williams, Jr. of Henryetta; by 6 grandchildren, Chuck Rogez and wife Virginia, David Rogez and wife Jan, Janice Johnson and husband Sam, Tim Williams III and wife Sheila, Shannon Aston, and Chad Roney and wife Jennifer; by 17 great grandchildren, Chad Rogez, Nancy Beth Rogez, Reid Rogez, Ryan Rogez, Cassidy Bennett and Riley Bennett, Trey Rogez and wife Lacy, Emily Rogez, Wes Johnson, Nick Johnson, Kaylah Craig and husband Christian, Kelsey Williams, Jacob Aston, Caleb Aston, Abigail Roney, Chandler Roney, and Brooklyn Roney; by 8 great great grandchildren; one sister, Margaret Fowler of Tulsa; numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family and many good friends. Viewing will be held Wednesday, May 22 from 5pm to 8pm, and Thursday, May 23 from 8am to 8pm at Integrity Funeral Service. A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, May 24, 2013 at 2:00pm at First Church of the Nazarene in Henryetta with Rev. Lowell Churchill officiating. Interment will follow immediately at Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service of Henryetta. Pallbearers will be Timothy E. Williams III, Chad Roney, Chad Rogez, David Rogez, Chuck Rogez, and Trey Rogez. Honorary pallbearers are Nick Johnson, Wes Johnson, Jacob Aston, Caleb Aston, Reid Rogez, Ryan Rogez, Chandler Roney, Jordan Rogez, Shoun Rogez, Danny Rogez Slawson, and Tyler Rogez.
