Pennie Lee Howard, a resident of Dewar passed away Wednesday, December 7th, 2022 at her home in Dewar at the age of 68. She was born August 30th, 1954 in Henryetta.
She married the love of her life J.T. Howard, September 25th,1975 in Dewar, Oklahoma and raised a family. Pennie worked as a checker at Warehouse Market for many years and was loved by many. Pennie loved elephants and was described as a joy to be around.
She is preceded in death by her father, Johnny R. Cox, mother, Jettie M. Dickey, Brother-in-law, John R. Watteau, and her son, James T. Howard.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, JT Howard of the home;
daughter, Krystal Rogers and husband Bryan; Sister Jeannie Watteau; Granddaughter Alexandria Edwards and husband Brian; Grandson James "Tyler" Howard and wife Mikaelah; Granddaughter Ashley L. Howard; Grandson Johnathan Howard; Great-Granddaughters, Ava Howard, Addison Edwards, Carson M. Edwards, Georgia Grace Howard; Great-Grandsons Brian A. Edwards, James Terry Howard, and John "Preacher" Howard; along with a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
Memorial services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 12th, 2022 at Dewar First Baptist Church with Rev. Ryan Wells officiating. Services are under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
