Ralph Tamplen

Ralph Tamplen, a resident of Schulter passed away Monday, February 9th, 2015 at his home at the age of 80. He was born July 20, 1934 in Ryal, Oklahoma to Joe L. Tamplen and Cora (Mannings) Tamplen. He married Christene Nuckolls August 26, 1954 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe & Cora Tamplen, two sons, Paul & David Tamplen, two sisters, Dora Mae Nuckolls & Betty Morris, one brother, Robert Tamplen. He is survived by his wife Christene of the home; Three sons: Jerry Tamplen of Henryetta; Ralph W. (Cookie) Tamplen & wife Brenda of Schulter; Daniel Tamplen & wife Gail of Council Hill; One Grandchild Three brothers: Billy Tamplen & wife Judy of Henryetta; Tommy Tamplen & wife Janice of Schulter; Kenneth Tamplen of Schulter; Also by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends and other relatives. Honorary pallbearers will be: Vicky Palmer, Nancy Wadley, Mary Lee, Tammy Nicholson, Tana Lay, & Geneva Bolenbaugh. Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Friday at Salem Cemetery with Vicky Palmer officiating. Services are under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
