Randie Charles Stanton

Shurden Funeral Home 411 West Division Street Henryetta, OK 74437 (918) 652-4461 Fax (918) 652-4451 Randie Stanton, a longtime Hoffman area resident, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2013 in Henryetta at the age of 58. Randie was born in Morris, Oklahoma on March 24, 1955 to Kenneth Charles Stanton and Lola Estella Maxwell Stanton. Randie grew up in the Hoffman area and attended Dewar Public Schools. Randie graduated in 1973 from Dewar High School. Randie worked for approximately 8 years building trusses with BCI Construction in Ft. Gibson, Oklahoma. He was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Hoffman. He was an avid outdoorsman, and especially loved to fish and hunt. Randie is preceded his mother; his wife, Lorie Stanton who passed away in 2006; and his maternal and paternal grandparents. He is survived by his father, Kenneth C. Stanton of Quinton, OK; four brothers, Ronnie Stanton and wife Rhonda of Henryetta, Russell Stanton of Okemah, Reginald Stanton and wife Kristina of Hoffman, and Rowland Stanton and wife Tammy of Hanna; a sister, Regina Stanton of Checotah; a girlfriend, Tonya Taber of Henryetta; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and cousins; as well as many good friends. Funeral services for Randie will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Shurden Chapel. Interment will follow at Hoffman Cemetery under the direction of Shurden Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Phillip Wood, Keith Wood, JJ Fish, James Lacquement, Peter Burney, and Larry Brownfield.
