Rhonda Jean Herrod

Rhonda Herrod, known to everyone as Rhonda Miller, passed away on September 20, 2024 in Tulsa, Ok. She was 57 years old. Rhonda was born on November 21, 1966 to Frances Miller in Weleetka, Ok. Harold Miller married Frances and raised Rhonda as his own. Rhonda graduated from Weleetka High School and spent majority of her life in Weleetka.

She worked at Kwikset for many years until the plant shut down. She then went back to school to obtain her associates degree. Due to her health she was forced to retire. Not long after, Rhonda became Meme. She got to help welcome her first granddaughter into the world. Less than two years later, another granddaughter. Rhonda was a big help in taking care of her grandchildren while their mom worked. She was so proud to be their Meme. Her biggest joy was being a part of their lives. Rhonda enjoyed playing at the casino and going to bingo. She was always so happy to be around friends and family. Rhonda was a member of the Thlewarle Indian Baptist Church. She enjoyed going very much and always brought her granddaughters along with her.

Rhonda is preceded in death by her parents and son, John Wesley Proctor.

She is survived by her children: T.J. Morgan of the home. Nikita Miller and husband, TJ Roberts of Weleetka. Joe Wiley of Tulsa. Nora Biggoose of Okmulgee; 1 brother, Thomas Miller and wife, Shelli of Haskell. 7 Grandchildren: Payden, Emerie, Ryett, Kyson, Ryklen, Noah, and Rainn. Niece: Josie Kay Miller. Nephew: Sonny Miller As well as many other relatives and friends.

Wake services Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at 7 PM at Thlewarle Indian Baptist Church in Dustin.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Thursday, September 26, 2024 at Thlewarle Indian Baptist Church with Rev. Eugene Whitlow, officiating. Interment will follow at the Wiley-Watson Family Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to Integrity Funeral Service.

Pallbearers will be Rodney Scott, Scott West, T.J. Roberts, Kenneth Sourjohn, Sonny Miller, and Kenneth Cooper.
