Richard "Kyle" Hefner a resident of Weleetka, passed away on February 04, 2025, at home surrounded by his family, at the age of 40. He was born December 20, 1984, in Okmulgee, OK to Richard "Dickie" Hefner and Debbie (Elmore) Hefner.
Richard, also known as Kyle, graduated from Henryetta High School in 2003. He continued his education at UMKC and Paris Junior College before becoming a dedicated pipeliner with IUOE Local 112 until 2023 when he was then ultimately forced to medically retire.
In 2014 Kyle married the love of his life, Lois (Loyd) Hefner. Together they lived a beautiful life with their two wonderful boys, James and Hunter.
In Kyle's free time, he was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and golf. He also enjoyed going fishing and morel hunting with both boys. He loved his mother-in-law's cooking, OU football, and having a drink with the best of them. He loved going to concerts and backroading with his "Biscuit" which everyone else knows as Lois or Lo. Anyone who ever took the time or was lucky enough to get to know Kyle loved him for his positive attitude and sense of humor even in the toughest times. He lived life to the fullest! To know him was to love him.
He is preceded in death by his father Richard "Dickie" Hefner; grandparents Hal and Anna Hefner and his grandfather Leon Elmore.
Kyle's legacy and strength live on in his wife Lois Hefner and two sons James and Hunter of the home; his Mother Debbie Hefner of Henryetta, OK; Sister Kelly Hefner of Henryetta, OK; Mother and his Father-in-law whom he thought more of as a second pair of parents, Patty and Brian Loyd of Weleetka, OK; Brother and Sister in Law Nolen and Kenna Loyd of Jenks, OK; Niece and Nephew Isla and Onyx of Jenks, OK; Grandmother Carrie Elmore of Henryetta, OK; Grandmother Vivian Loyd of Dewar, OK; A best friend that he considered more as a brother Jonathan Berry of Lamar, OK; amazing co-parents to both boys Mario and Raycee Garcia of Dewar, OK. Along with numerous other relatives and friends.
Kyle will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service for Kyle will be held on Monday, February 10, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Dewar First Baptist Church with Reverend Ryan Wells officiating.
Honorary Pallbearers include Brian Loyd, Nolen Loyd, Jonathan Berry, Justin Been, Wayne Robertson, Jared Jones, Jason Jones, Rick Been, Jason Cunningham and Drew Cunningham.
