Richard Anthony Hicks, a resident of Sapulpa, passed away Friday, June 10, 2016 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 72. He was born December 2, 1943 in Henryetta, OK to Charles Hicks & Lucille (Field) Hicks. Richard married Rubeen Whitlow on November 27, 1982 in Dustin, Oklahoma. Preceded in death by his parents, sister Tanya Hicks, a brother Dean Hicks, & daughter Gina McClure. Richard is survived by his wife Rubeen Hicks of the home, daughter, Tanya Jones of Carthage, Illinois; son, Richard Hicks Jr. of Claremore, Oklahoma; daughter, Rhonda Hicks of Boston, Massachusetts; daughter, Ladean Marris & husband Harold of Oklahoma City; son, Clinton Hicks & wife Andrea Bowling of Sapulpa; daughter, Nakita Presnell & husband Brandon of Sapulpa; 13 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, sister, Lapaula McGee of Tulsa, brother Leslie Hicks & wife Kathy, of Sapulpa, sister, Monique Johnson & husband Dallas of Henryetta, brother, Charles Hicks of Henryetta, brother, Pete Riley & wife Glenda of Sand Springs, son-in-law, Bill McClure of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Wake Services are scheduled for Monday, June 13, 2016 at Integrity Chapel from 6-8pm. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00pm, Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Integrity Chapel with Rev. John Wayne Tulsa and Rev. Marvin Lowe, officiating. Interment will follow at Hutcheechupa Cemetery in rural Henryetta. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service. Pallbearers will be Brandon Presnell, Michael Whitlow, Dallas Johnson, Rojer Johnson, Harold Marris, and Tom Chapo, Honorary Pallbearers will be Marvin Thurman, Les McGee, Derric Blackburn, Rufus Whitlow, Cary Hicks, Jim Hicks, David Dunson, Marty Dunson, and Simeon Lee.
