Rita Arlene Carson

August 30, 1949 — January 5, 2021

On January 5th, 2021 Rita Carson a lifelong resident of Hitchita, Oklahoma; passed away at the age of 71 at The OU Medical Center in Edmond, Oklahoma. Rita had fought for 19 days with Covid-19, Flu, Double Pneumonia, and a blood clot in her lung.
She was born August 30th, 1949 to Troy and Dora Mae Kaler.
She is preceded in death by her parents Troy and Dora Mae Kaler, Brother David Kaler and Son James Allen Carson.
She is survived by her husband, David Carson of the home- Son- Tommy Little and Amber of Hitchita- Billy Little and Sherry of Hoffman- Billy Joe Carson of Shawnee. 5 grandchildren: Haley of Tulsa, Josh Thompson of Tulsa, TJ Little of McAlester, and Hunter and Blake Carson of Checotah, Oklahoma. 3 great-grandchildren and one the way. Aunt Cora Rae Davis of Haskell, Oklahoma. Several cousins, relatives, and friends.

Viewing will be from 4 - 8pm Sunday, January 10th at Integrity Funeral Service.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00pm Monday, January 11th, 2021 at Lackey Cemetery in Hitchita, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service of Henryetta, Oklahoma.

Masks will be provided.
