Robert Earl Patterson

Robert Earl "Bob" Patterson, a longtime resident of Henryetta passed away Sunday, September 9th, 2018 in Morris at the age of 78. Bob was born January 18th, 1940 to Andrew H. Patterson & Allie (Falconer) Patterson.

After Bob's early schooling he attended Oklahoma State University at Okmulgee. Bob was a veteran, proudly serving with the United States Air Force. He married Linda (Shaver) Spirlock on December 10, 1965 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He worked as the UAW representative for Ford Motor Company from 1974 until his retirement May 31, 2001. Bob & Linda lived in Henryetta for many years and just recently moved to Morris, Oklahoma to make their home.

Bob was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where he also served as a Deacon.

He is preceded in death by his parents, also by one brother, Andrew Patterson, Jr. and three sisters, Vermelle Gilreath, Christina Hays, & Katherine Newman.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Linda Patterson of the home in Morris;
Five children: Sandra Howell & husband Randy of Beggs;
Mark Patterson & Bryan Nicholson of Henryetta;
Roberta Bivens & husband Scott of Kansas City, Missouri;
Brenda Wadley & husband Cody of Cameron, Missouri;
Brent Patterson & wife Julie of Morris;
Ten grandchildren & ten great grandchildren;
Also by a host of friends and other relatives.

Viewing for Bob will be from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, on Wednesday, September 12th and 8:00 am until 1:00 pm Thursday at Integrity Funeral Service.

Pallbearers will be, Roy Howell, Blake Parker, Blane Wadley, Hayden Patterson, Robert Jack Patterson & Brad Bivens. Honorary pallbearers will be, Ronnie Shaver, Doss Wynn, Bryan Nicholson, Scott Bivens, Randy Howell, Mark Patterson & Flo Chairez.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Integrity Chapel with Paul Lay, John Howell & Mike Dewitt officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
