Robert Greg Howard

Robert Greg Howard, a longtime resident of Okmulgee, passed away at the age of 56 on Thursday, September 8, 2022 in Tulsa. Rob was born September 14, 1965, to the late Greg Howard and Glenda (Gilbird) Howard in Webb City, Missouri. In Robs early years he worked as a poker dealer at the casino and did carpentry most his life. His true passion was creating art. Rob was a man with a wonderful sense of humor that always filled a room with laughter. He was known by family for his amazing cheesecake and fudge that will greatly be missed at family gatherings. He enjoyed spending time playing board games and Pass the Pigs with his family. He was a risk taker when it came to these games and always willing to give it his all to win. Rob will be remembered for many things, but the love he had for his family will be the most treasured.

Rob was preceded in death by his mother and father; brothers, Tim and Michael Howard.

He is survived by his wife, Mary of the home; children, Emma Howard of Okmulgee, Rush Williams and Megan of Henryetta, Chelsea Ragland and Ross of Norman, Chase Williams of Henryetta, and Sprint Williams of Henryetta; grandchildren, Dash and Charlotte Williams, Mila Jennings, Race and Rhett Ragland, and Kya and Cade Williams; nephews, George, Warren, and Alex Howard; great nephew, Oliver; brother, Derek Tressler along with many friends.

A celebration of Rob’s life will be held 4:00 PM, Saturday, September 24, 2022 at the Glenpool Convention Center. The family will have lunch at 2:00 PM prior to the service.
