Robert Lee Lay, Sr.

Pastor Robert Lee Lay Sr., a resident of Henryetta, passed away Friday, August 21, 2015 at his home in the Grayson Community in rural Henryetta, OK at the age of 68. He was born May 4, 1947 in Clinton, AR to Howard Lay & Lois (Hensley) Lay. He married Lucretia Mae Neal on June 10, 1968 in Okemah, Oklahoma. Pastor Lay is preceded in death by his wife, Lou Lay, his parents, Howard and Lois Lay, brother, Harold Lay, sister, Flossie Lay, brother-in-law, Ray Osborne, as well as numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and other relatives. Pastor Robert Lay is survived by his three boys, Robert Lay Jr. & wife Kristen of Salem, Oklahoma, Steven Lay & wife Joni of Iowa, Brian Lay & wife Stena of Okmulgee, grandchildren, Sarah McKinney & husband Michael, Robert Paul Lay & fiance, Elizabeth Anderson, Kevin Riley Lay, Emma Grayce Lay, Bailey Lay, Shelby Lay, Michelle Lay, Hunter Lay, Brianna Lay, and baby boy Brian Lewis Lay Jr. on the way, one great grandson, Wyatt McKinney, father-in-law, Roscoe Neal & wife Dorothy of Henryetta, brother, Paul Lay & wife Burnell of Morris, brother, Jimmy Lay & wife Mary of Henryetta, brother, Tommy Lay & wife Julie of Holt, Missouri, sister, Diane Osborne of Checotah, Oklahoma, as well as his church family, a host of other relatives and friends. Viewing will be from 4-8pm on Monday, August 24, and from 8am-8pm on Tuesday, August 25 at Integrity Funeral Service in Henryetta. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at 10:00 am, at The New Covenant Tabernacle Church (18725 HWY 266, Henryetta, OK 74437) with. Rev. Paul Lay, Rev. Tommy Lay, Rev. Robert Lay Jr., and Rev. Charles Johnson will serve as officiants. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
